Your stat priority isn't correct. Intelligence is the 2nd most important stat for a disc priest. You should be constantly casting as a disc priest so you need a large mana pool. And spirit is completely useless for disc, you should use 1 or 2 purple gems to get your meta but other then that socket everything with red spell power or orange spellpower/int. And you didn't list doing Penance on tanks in your role. And during LK you'll be shielding everyone you can for the infest while throwing PoM on the offtank and Penancing the main tank or least thats for 10 man.

To be honest, I haven't had attempts on LK yet...only been able to pug things and yea that explains everything. I will explain HM Blood Queen.

I start off my bubbling both tanks and Poming the tank that will have boss first. Damage is very heavy in this fight so I immediately start bubbling people taking damage. Basic fight mechanics of course apply such as Swarming Shadows (screen turns grey, run to outside wall) and the ability that links 2 people and causes 100% damage to linked player. Since I'm a healer I do not worry about getting bit until late in the fight where I will usually bite another healer or a tank. On the 2nd air phase I use Fear Ward and then Mass Dispel to prevent further damage. Always keeping PW: S on the tanks and Poming whoever is MTing at the time, while bubbling incoming damage and penancing people getting low.

My gs is 5.7k. And after further evaluation and reading I have come to realize i was a bit wrong on my stat priorities. As I have looked around it seems that it is safe to have a healthy amount of crit and haste. The crit and haste you get from this level of raiding is enough that you do not have to gem for it. As a disc priest i need 154 haste rating to reach the hard GCD cap for PW: S. Also the debate on whether spirit vs int. is better for regen, and I would say you wouldn't gem for spirit except for meta gem....Spell power is obviously the best stat because it's what effects the most spells.

Most wanted upgrade?
Helm for sure, 232 isn't cutting it.
